HELP, My kids are invading my bed!!!

I have no idea what's going on, but here lately both of my kids are waking in the night and getting in our bed. Okay so Wyatt can't exactly get out of his bed on his own, but he has been waking up crying, hollering Momma! I'll be honest and say that most of the time I am way too tired to try and rock him back to sleep without falling asleep myself, so I wind up putting him in our bed. It really wouldn't be that big of a deal except sister has started to wake up and come to our room just so she can sleep with us!!
Now y'all, my kids have always slept on their own and all night long! So what's the deal? I mean 2 kids and 2 adults in a queen size bed, doesn't make for a very comfortable nights sleep! Not to mention they both like to toss and turn and smack whatever or whoever is beside them! Then it's all, "get off me", and "ehhhh", and "Randy scoot over", and "I'm on the edge as it is!". Something's gotta give!! We either need a bigger bed or figure out how to stop this. You may be thinking its simple, just put them back to bed, but it's just not that simple. You see, I hear everything. Ever little whimper and every cry. Therefore if I put them back to bed and they cry or even just talk it keeps me up.
Some people have questioned wether it could be related to their Daddy being sick. We haven't sat down and explained to Jillian that her Daddy has cancer. She wouldn't understand nor does she need to worry at 4 years old. But you know how they say that kids can sense things. Could it be, she senses her Daddy is sick, not just a cold sick but a different sick. Could this BE worrying her and making her wake up at night? She has been a little mean to her Daddy recently. If he talks to her she will tell him, "Daddy don't talk to me", or "I'm not talking to you, Daddy". I'm not sure if that's just a sassy age thing or if again she senses that something's up with her Daddy and she doesn't know how to deal?
The Cancer Institute that Randy goes to for treatment offers families with children Art Therapy. I have already made the call to see about getting her in a session.

In the meantime anyone with any advise or suggestions are most welcome!! Have you ever experienced this before? What did you do?

My life....

I feel like I haven't blogged in forever, and I miss it.  But, I just can't find the time recently.  Don't worry though, I still find time to read your all's blogs!!

Here's a bullet post about what's been going on.

  • I am working later.  Until 5pm and even working some Saturday's.  It is kicking my butt!  I love making the money but I feel so tired and can't get caught up.

  •    I am trying so hard to loose weight and get back into shape!  It is even harder than the other times I've done it!  I'm exercising almost everyday and trying so hard to eat right/better.

  • I've got tons of things going on right now.  A party I'm planning/hosting this weekend, dress shopping on Sunday, helping plan a wedding, and crafting for an annual show I participate in.

The really cute paci clips I made!  I love how they turned out!

A burp cloth and paci clip to match!

  • My Dad has met his match!  I am so excited for him.  After losing my Mom 2 1/2 years ago, and experiencing a not so happy relationship, he is really happy.  And I couldn't be happier for him.  We are planning a wedding, that will take place in about a month!  Crazy, but good crazy.  She has taken my sister and I and our families into her heart and welcomed us, and loved us as her own.  I see so many good times to come!

  • Randy is hanging in there!  He has had a few side effects that we're trying to deal with and the occasional nausea.  He still has his hair which makes me wonder if he even will loose it.

  • Yesterday he had to have an ultrasound on his arm for swelling after his treatment last Thursday.  After waiting practically all day, they sent us home not knowing much.  However, our wonderful General Practitioner called us to let us know there are 2 partial clots that weren't that severe enough to need cumaden.  Yay!!  An Aspirin regimen and keeping it elevated is starting to help!

  • These 2 boys are growing up way too fast!  In less than 4 months Noah will be 2 and Wyatt is already  16 months and I'm behind on that post!

  • And this little girl, well she's growing up too.  I mean look at those feet!

Kidding!  Those are her MeMe's boots!  Girlfriend loves to wear other people's shoes!

  • I really really have been thinking about getting a fancy, high tech camera.  Well for Christmas!  I just love pictures but don't like the cost of Professional ones and don't like how phone pics and other digital prints look when printed.  So, any suggestions on what to look for?  I thought about trying ebay.  I don't need anything brand new just something that will give me good pics!
  • Oh, and look what I got to play with this morning......

  • Isn't he cute?!?  Someone dropped him on our doorstep at work.  I kept him in my pocket at work until a nice lady came to take care of him!
  • I'm sure there's more to tell but I'm ready to go to bed!!  Where does the time go?

Where have we been....

Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  And Pigeon Forge.  Yep, we took a little family vacation, and gotta away from it all. It was nice!

Our trip included visiting Ripley's Aquarium, riding a sky lift, eating ice cream, shopping, laughing at the Comedy Barn, eating at Flapjacks, and visiting the Titanic Museum.

The Aquarium was awesome!  The kids were all amazed, with the giant tanks filled with iridescent blue water and vibrant colored fish.

The 3 stooges!

They really wanted to swim with the fishes but settled for hugging the tanks.

But not each other, lol!

We walked through a shark tank, scary but true!  We were surrounded by sharks and gallons and gallons of water.  It was pretty awesome.

Wyatt touched and tried to pick up one of those things, eww!!
He thought it was cool!

Jillian loved being "inside" the fish tanks!  I have to say I would have liked it too, but I wouldn't fit under the thing, I tried!

Penguins are cute but pure evil!

This lady is standing guard so the penguins to break Jillian's little fingers.  Because of course leave it to Jillian to pet one!

Ice cream break.  She threw her's away but Noah decided he'd share!

Up at the top of the sky lift!  Great view from the top!

On our way down.

Feet!  I was really nervous my shoes would fall off, but I held on to them as tight as I could with my toes.

I held on to her as tight as I could!  Ya'll, I was nervous, I can't lie!  I was like Jillian don't move and definitely don't let go of that bar!

Our last stop before heading home.

The Titanic, herself.  Well, the museum.  I thought it was very interesting.  Lots of great facts, a real iceberg, a Morse code game and decks of the ship created at different angles to see what it was like to be standing on it as it was sinking.  We all got boarding passes that were actual people on the ship.  It told their story, what class they were and at the end you learned of your/their fate.  Of course Jillian had to go potty, so I never found out if I survived.

This was the size of one of the anchors from the ship.  It was ginormous!

We had a blast, and of course it went by way to fast!

The End!
