Punkin Time

This past Saturday our family took a little trip to Gallerin Farms.  I say little because this farm is only a hop, skip and a jump from our house.
We enjoyed feeding the animals at the petting zoo, climbing on stacks of hay, taking a hay ride and picking pumpkins.  Jillian had a blast, and she picked the biggest pumpkin of all.  It was a twenty pounder!!

She thought this was the coolest, she could run across the line of hay bales and jump.

Here she is Queen of the castle, of hay bales, whatever!!

She got to feed the miniature horse.  The little girl beside us taught Jillian to pick up the dropped corn off the ground and feed it to the animals.

The goats were all saying feed me, and one of them to a liking to her hair.  I had to stop him and pull her hair out of his mouth, it was kind of funny!

She didn't like the chickens, she said " Mommy they run a way from me", hmm I wonder why.  Probably a good thing though, considering the sign said chickens and rabbits bite!  Needless to say we did not go see the rabbits!!

This little goat in the back was having a good 'ole time on his play set complete with slide.

The pumpkin in the very front is Jillian's.  Randy said, "Babe, she has her heart set on this one", still don't know if she picked it or if daddy picked it.  She does love it though, she says she's going to paint it.

Family photo opt!  If you look close you can see we are all in there.  And might I add there were no stools behind there, not that Wyatt could stand anyway!

My little big pumpkin!  He fell asleep on the hay ride and I woke him up for pictures, but I couldn't resist!

The boys!  Noah was interested in everything but the camera, he loved the vine thingy!  And Wyatt is actually sitting up here by himself!

Didn't last long before he laid back on the pumpkins, but he thought it was funny!

Miss Jillian decided she wanted an apple, but she didn't ask, I mean they were right there at her level.  She took a bite and Daddy said "umm, we just bought an apple"!  Hey, it could have been worse!

The hay ride to and from the pumpkin patch was nice.  Wyatt slept going to the patch and Jillian wanted to sit anywhere, without us!  Isn't she a little young for that?

I don't think he was thrilled or amused with my mini photo shoot!!

Now Wyatt was more interested in that vine thingy, it must have looked really cool to them.

These boys are going to be such buds!  I just love that they're so close in age.  BUT I do think my sis is right when she says Noah's going to be the one who comes up with the bad ideas!!  DOUBLE TROUBLE I say!!

Jo-Jo and Noah on the hay ride.

Daddy and Wyatt on the hay ride.  I just love their colorful shirts!

I said hey Jillian, you want to take a picture by the big pumpkin?  She didn't care that I wanted a picture of her actually looking at me!!

Some cute little giggles from the baby boy, always make me smile!

The ending to our perfect little trip.  I hope we can make this one of our fall traditions!  We had so much fun hanging out as a family and being outside in the nice fall weather!

Do you have any fall traditions?  Where is your favorite pumpkin patch?
