Guess who cut their first tooth yesterday? Yep, Wyatt did! Randy actually made the discovery when I got home from work last night. He was playing with Wyatt while I cooked supper, and as usual Wyatt was gnawing on Randy's fingers. And then he felt it. A little ridged tooth is now poking through. I'm not sure whether to be excited or a little scared, I still breastfeed, enough said, right! This actually explains a lot. This past weekend Wyatt was just not his usual self, not nursing very much and only on one side. I guess that little tooth was causing a bit of a ruckus in his mouth. Our pediatrician was right when she told us last Wednesday that he'd have teeth soon! Good call!
Hopefully soon I can get a picture of that little tooth, but for now here's one from this morning, all ready to go!
On another note, we have started Wyatt on stage 3 baby food, and it isn't going well. He was eating so much of the stage 2's, (5 jars a day), that I thought moving him on up would be easy. Wrong O! He's just not to sure about the textures in it, I think. Last night he held it in his mouth and wouldn't swallow. I guess we'll keep trying and if nothing else, we'll just go back to stage 2!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
he's sooo adorable! I'm sooo glad he's getting teeth! growing up=(
ReplyDeleteWell, maybe he just isn't ready for the stage 3 foods just yet. Hopefully he will be better for a little while since his first tooth is in. Well, I am sure you will be able to keep breastfeeding just fine. It might just take a day or two.
ReplyDeleteHow quickly they grow up! Now Santa can bring him a toothbrush!
