Thanksgiving Weekend Part Two

The second part of our holiday weekend consisted of Thanksgiving dinner at our house and a birthday dinner for Jo-Jo.

Randy' mom Patty and her mate David came down from Nicholasville on Saturday.  As well as my sister in law, Kimmie, her husband Jay and my niece Shelby.  Jo-Jo and Noah also joined us.  She stays with us on Saturday anyway!  Everyone was a HUGE help this year!  I was so nervous thinking about how I was going to pull it off, but it went wonderful.  Everyone brought a dish or two, and Jo-Jo made my dessert for me.  We got to use our fairly new dining room table for the first time as a family of 9 and the girls had a table of their own, it was perfect.  I know I've posted it before, but there is just something to be said for dining together as a family.  Uncle Jay even took the reigns and fed Wyatt for me while I stuffed my face.  It was pretty comical since Jay hadn't fed a baby in a couple of years, but oh so sweet!

Jay is our official turkey carver!

Wyatt got some much needed one on one time with NeNe and Papaw David.

Clearly Aunt Kimmie did not want this picture taken so I thought I'd post it, love ya Kimmie!!

NeNe and her first and maybe only grandson, (I'm not pushing it Kimmie!!)

Jillian doing what she does best, being silly!  We may have had a break through with this 6 day spread of being at home.  I don't want to jinx it, but someone is doing really well in big girl panties, cross your fingers!!

The girl's table, can you believe how much they look alike.  I love it and them!

Ms. Shelby Ann, enjoying some mac n cheese.  She got up and declared that she was taking a break, she's so funny!

This girl may turn into a carb one day.  Bread, bread and more bread!

 Our food spread, yes please!

Really?  You know we're in the 21st century when a 3 and 4 year old are playing with smart phones!  The funny thing was Shelby had mine and Jillian had Kimmie's!
Miss Shelby Ann, being all technical!

Not sure what this look means, but I'm guessing it's a I'm busy don't bother me look!

Everybody was playing with their phones, even the grown ups!

Sunday we celebrated Jo-Jo's 26th birthday at Chedders in Louisville.  Her actual Birthday is November 29th, but going out on a weekend is much easier than a week night.  We had a great time, and what a great way to end our hoilday weekend!

Glee CD, yay!!  Of course this came from me, in the hopes that she'll share!  We love our Glee!

My boys, looking handsome no doubt!

She received a very pretty, shiny scarf from Miss Ann.

And Jillian loved the card.  I can't remember exactly what it said but the monkeys on it made noise, so Jillian kept opening and closing it!

I almost left this picture out because I feel like I look horrible, BUT, it is a really cute one of the boys.

We had a blessed Thanksgiving weekend, and I am so thankful for every single part of it.  Well maybe not the part where Wyatt and I shared a nasty cold, but we're on the mend now and all is good.

Good night all and have a great weekend.
